Dutch companies invest more on research, development and innovation. In total, this involved more than 13 billion.
An increase of 3% compared to the year before, reports Statistics Netherlands. Companies spent 7.4 billion euros on research and development in 2014, 300 million more than in the previous year. 60 percent of innovation money is spent by large companies with more than 250 employees.
